Traffic in India is an organized chaos. All that beeping is to inform people that you're there. It seems China is a lot more narcissistic in it's traffic.

never been to china myself...but i imagine traffic in taiwan is similiar to china

i like the concept they have tho...

Bus-->car-->Scooter-->pedestrian (if you are smaller than me, GTFO)

unlike in Vancouver, where as

bike-->pedestrian-->bus-->car

a lot of ped and bike think they are hot shit on the road and not obeying the traffic law.. they cry and whine when they get hit and the car is to blame

Your right in terms of volume of traffic similar, but it just seems safer/diff. attitude in TW. I didn't fear for my life like I did vs. when I was in China ahahah.

Generally, people in Taiwan are a lot nicer than the folks in China. China has a "everyone for themselves" mentality. When I went to Taipei, last year, I remember that people showed courtesy. The only people they didn't seem to like were the mainlanders from China. but then again, no one likes 'em.

click download videos,
put in the link,
convert to mp3,
put in your email,
they will send you a link to the file so you can download.

I use this all the time, pretty good for getting songs off youtube.

i took a taxi in shanghai once, the roads were pretty busy so my taxi driver decided to swerve into oncoming traffic for a bit to get ahead of a couple slower cars on the right side.

i was silent for the rest of the ride

Maybe they're just driving illegally without a valid DL? Does that happen a lot in China?
