infiniti needs to make the g37 less of a tank...it's so big and sluggish compared to the other 2 (haven't driven either rs or m versions, but i assume they r better than the current haha)

I saw a black IPL G37 just a few days ago, and I admit it looks decent, but being so heavy and sluggish compared to the TT-RS and 1M, it's pretty much in the different league.

The TT-RS packs quite alot of power for a small car, but the 1M is pretty much the same in terms of weight.

I'm looking forward to seeing the TT-RS land here soon and hopefully a revised RS4 when they ditch the current body style

fucking sick...

Here we go...is this the right car? I don't know my audis.

EDIT: I just re-read these specs are for the manual version. Can't find anything for the 7speed auto...hmmmm...really that big of difference?

Quote from audi website:

"The TT RS rockets from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds. The governed top speed of 155 mph is merely the official figure; as an option, it can be increased to 174 mph. Peak torque of 332 lb-ft is available between 1,600 and 5,300 rpm, providing tremendous pulling power. The TT RS Coupe requires only 9.2 liters of fuel per 25.57 US mpg – another example of how Audi combines dynamics and efficiency."

lol $66k for an RS Audi is cheap compared to costs of other RS cars in the line up. RS4's were $100k and sold very well. I think people that are spending more than $50k on a car will not get scared away by a 16k price difference in order to get a lot more car for their money

C/D numbers are in US... An M3 coupe in the states retail for $58,900 MSRP. So yes, an M3 coupe w/ competition pkg is less than 66gs.

soon as i saw the thread title, asked myself WTF is the IPL G37 doing in there, things gonna get killed!

great looking car aesthetically speaking, (minus the 4x4 ride height) but overall the thing sucks, they should keep it for what it really is, a luxury coupe with a dash of sport... and nowhere near worth the price... like 50+ grand for a tiny bit more hp over the normal coupe, power you won't even really feel, oh and a sport kit and wheels.... oh and it's fckin 4x4 status thing sits so high... even the infiniti guys me included are disappointed in it overall..

give me a base model g37 coupe, and i will make it faster and better looking than this thing while keeping the price under 50k overall

^yeap.. i think the rear bumper of the IPL g37 looks fugly.....gives impression that it's trying way too hard to compete with the m1 and the tt-rs by addition of sport enhancement that doesnt flow well together....

the original g37 rear in the other hand, nice subtle and classy

The DSG definitely shifts faster than most humans can shift so that automatically takes a couple tenths of seconds off the 0-60 time. It also has an extra gear (7 spd vs 6 spd) and it looks like it's geared pretty low and reaches 60 exactly at the top of 2nd. The addition of the "sport" exhaust may add a bit of power as these engines seem to be both underrated as well as easy to mod for more power. Finally, there's the launch control which allows easy and repeatable optimal launches and all those changes add up.

whoa 3.6 0-60. That's ridiculous for the TT. If only it came with a manual gearbox since every manual Audi I've driven had AMAZING gearboxes.
