| computer problem?
sometimes when i start my comp it dosent load windows it gets stuck and a black screen with a white flashing line thing..whats wrong with it?

Do you have a disc in the drive, or perhaps a flash key in the slot? Your system might be trying to boot from that.

check your bios settings to see if its trying to boot something else, just make it boot hard drive 1 or something

Your files may be corrupted , can you try to get into safe mode ?

Newer motherboards have CMOS reset button. Press that and you're good. You can yank out the battery for few minutes also to do it manually. Easiest thing to do would be look at the motherboard manual.
If your system files are corrupted, you can do a repair with your OS disc.
Edit: If your computer is pre-assembled, can you post your model #?
