| Looking for someone to do a full outside paint job
The bodyshop we use at work said it will be about $1500-1600 including door jams, still waiting for price without them though.
I'm really hoping to find someone on here, or a friend of someone that does paint/bodywork for a living and wants to do a side job or something.
TIA

$1600, really, I thought a good paint job would be more.
I wonder what they would charge if I you did the prep work yourself.

I don't think you will be getting it any cheaper. Not by much anyways. Especially with jams included.

Unless you know how to prep properly and have done it before do not prep it yourself. It will be more of a headache for the shop.
Truely that's not a bad price. Even if you find someone on the side to do it you're probably looking at $500-$800 for just materials. Bigger shops material costs are lower because of having stock on everything. I'd just all over that price!

^ I don't know how to prep properly at all, but I will probably help take most of the stuff apart. I believe the price he gave me included him doing all the prep work, but I just emailed to clarify and confirm everything the price incluldes.

That's a great price especially considering they have to do a good job if they want to continue getting business from you.

| cheap paint
thats a fair price, $1600-> 16 hours at Valet Rate ($59./hour) then $600 in materials (cheapest) a good painter could bang that off in a day and make decent money. I spent $1000 in materials when I painted my last F150 Reg Cab long box
