Upgrading camera firmware to use SDHC
Hey guys, I'm using a canon optura xi that my parents bought for over $800+ a couple of years ago. The camera can only use SD cards as the SDHC option wasn't out yet. I read online that for some devices, you can update the camera firmware and it'll be able to read and use SDHC cards. I'm just wondering if any of you guys attempted this before? Its kind of a waste since this cameras pretty expensive and it sucks using cassette tapes.

i don't see anything like this on there.

just out of curiosity, which devices let you do this? ppl need to buy new card readers to go from sd to sdhc, and now sdXc
