No kidding, been to both of those as well as the Red Lobster.

Good commercials, bad food. Everything is VERY strong in taste, and not just a plate or two but everything that was ordered.

Manic! 04-10-2011 10:51 PM

Like others have said Mi Mexico. That place is bad ass and dirt cheap.

Culverin 04-10-2011 11:37 PM

Thanks all, I hit up mi mexico. Not amazing food, but damn, was that cheap. Got 2 dishes and guac for 4 people. :fullofwin:

Did dinner at Johnny Carinos.

Heading down again in a couple weeks, this thread is gold guys. Thanks!

Depends on what you consider nice and cuisine you want. There's honestly not much in between the border to the outlets.

Bellevue is way past Exit 202, if your going to Bellevue you might as well be going to Seattle!

Phil@rise 04-12-2011 10:08 AM

I'll be heading to seattle for the long weekend and doin the MVF tour, I will not be doing the challenges by myself, but instead with my daughter and gf. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Just got back from an awesome weekend in Seattle, and I must say that the best thing I ate over the weekend had to be at Pike Place Chowder. The New England clam chowder was unbelievable. Best chowder I've ever had!

Can anyone suggest a nice movie theatre within that area as well?

Edit: totally forgot this was in the Food Forum, but if anyone knows, that would be appreciated!

Anyone know the most recent price for lunch at the tulalip buffet?

Boomer's Drive In was FANTASTIC this weekend.

Their waffle fries are seasoned to perfection and the deep fried mushrooms were absolutely delicious!

I haven't gone there in months. You really can't beat the value you get for the price you pay. Something like that here would be $13+ for the burger, fries and the shake.

brokentelephone 01-02-2012 07:41 AM

There is an excellent bagel place in Bellingham called the Bagerly.

CharlieH 01-02-2012 08:27 AM

the olive garden at the outlets is pretty damn good

+1 for the Cheesecake factory in Bellevue.

Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue serves some of the best prime rib and porterhouse steak in Washington state. Good view of downtown Seattle and Lake Washington.

Gnomes 02-11-2012 11:32 AM

I dont see the deep fried mushroom on their menu of Boomer's. Is there lots of seating inside so that we dont have to eat in the car?
