Hmm... last I checked, it's on the menu, I think it's called "Boomers" or something ... can't remember for sure, but if you just order it as deep fried mushrooms they can make it for you anyways. There's quite a bit of seating inside, there's a round fireplace table in the center (your face will get pretty warm lol) and tables that could seat probably about 20 people.

Gnomes 02-12-2012 03:38 PM

Just went there today. They said no deep friend mushrooms during the burger anniversary promotion. Told me to come back in 2 weeks >_<

Ch28 02-12-2012 11:51 PM

Went there tonight and the didn't have any deep fried mushrooms during the Boomer Burger sale because they don't have enough people to fry the mushrooms or something.

Whole place was packed inside and outside around 7pm

Gnomes 02-13-2012 04:21 PM

the COPPER HOG gastropub

This place is awesome. I went to bellingham really early so after shopping at Trader Joe's, I asked one of the cashiers if there was any good food around and he suggested this place. Had their chicken fried pork from their breakfast menu and fell in love.

They also had fresh doughnut holes as a free starter!

Red lobster in lynnwood

Cheesecake factory in bellevue
Crab pot in bellevue (closer than seattle's location)

Depends on what you consider nice and cuisine you want. There's honestly not much in between the border to the outlets.

For those who doesnt go down past exit 256 and just hang around bellingham area... try this place for asian buffet food. 13.99 adults dinner:
Wonderful Buffet - Bellingham | Urbanspoon

It is uncle willy's style buffet where you get up with a plate and take food from their food area.

Some items they have I will try to recall off the top of my head:
Spoiler!

no free pop... but i still think the place is better than old country buffet

i tried cheesecake factory for the first time this summer, i really dont get why that place is popular.
really mediocre food and not even that cheap (cocktail cost me $11 and it sucked)

BinsentoW 08-23-2012 04:39 PM

Their selection of cheesecakes is huge, and they're good.
Haven't been to one for a meal in a while, but I've went in just to buy a few slices of cheesecake to go a few times.
I like the food there though

This place is so fucking gross...I have no idea how they stay in business

miss_crayon 10-02-2013 10:57 AM

If you guys want a GOOD buffet...Salty's is the gods of all brunch buffets. In Seattle though so not within the driving limits the OP had. But then again..this thread is what...from 2011.

A few posts here are sidetracked lol, Bellevue is practically parallel to Seattle in terms of distance, maybe even a bit further?
Heading to the outlet this weekend, will check out some recommendations in Bellingham!

I started going to the place a few months ago and I'd hate to admit it, but I like it. It's cheap, for one thing. You have to go when it is the busiest. That way, the food is always fresh......... or fresher.

It's quick, it's cheap, and it's right there on Guide Merridian.

So many Asians in there - that could mean one of two things....... the food is really good, or, it's damn cheap, lololololol.

Nothing special, but friends tell me the seafood buffet is very good. I'm not into seafood, so I can't comment.

Tulalip might be a better choice.

GLOW 07-10-2014 06:20 AM

agreed. buffet at silver reef was meh. tulalip was better but cost more.

H.Specter 07-10-2014 08:08 AM

stricker's cafe in lynwood is a must go to if you like the greasy american breakfast food

brb 5 egg meat lovers omelette and red potato fries plus toast for 9.99

Coren 07-10-2014 05:49 PM

Just wanted to say you get a free birthday buffet meal once a year at silver reef casino if you signed up for their card. You can use the meal any day in a calendar year and not on your actual birthday itself. Great to use for the seafood buffet during king crab season.

And wonderful buffet, only the price is good. Decent selection but the food is not that great.

badboy 07-11-2014 06:42 PM

Eagles Buffet NOW!
