| Tropical Skittles Vodka
So I decided I'd make some Tropical Skittles Vodka. I decided to buy Smirnoff Red Label 375ml bottles for each flavor, for 5 bottles it cost me $11.99 a bottle with taxes and deposit it cost $60.45. I used 3 medium sized Skittles bags that cost about $2.38 each, so x3 so about $7.80. I also used 5 empty water bottles. Waiting for the Skittles to dissolve and straining it back in to its original bottles took about 3 1/2 hours.
So I separated each color in to glasses as shown behind the bottles...
With 3 bags of Skittles I put them in bottles and it was all pretty close measurements, I think the blue and green had the most but pretty close
I put them in the sink with hot water so the skittles can dissolve faster. I took them out every so often and shook them, I had to drain the water once and fill it back up with hot water cause it started to cool down a bit. When they start floating on its side they are pretty much done dissolving for the most part.
Straining the Banana Berry with a funnel and a coffee filter
Strawberry Starfruit with a fresh coffee filter
...Pineapple Passion Fruit again new coffee filter.
...Kiwi Lime
... and Mango Tangelo
...and pretty much what they turned out to look like. There was like a shot left out of each so I decided to test them out. They taste like skittles
It taste pretty sweet, I think it would go good mixed with ginger ale or sprite, or a straight up shot
I wish I had friends to drink this with |

Was the skittle flavour in it very strong? I've read about this online before and it seems like most people tend to do this over a 24 hour period so they can strain out the old skittles and replace them with a fresh batch of skittles.

Where did you get the vodka from?
BC Liquor or some other place?
Also, anyone know where the cheapest place to get it from? |

That's pretty cool though. If I was a kid and I didn't know what that was I'd probably mistake it for some juice lol.
