We cut the grass to use one part of the 2 part system. It can be sewn back together easily if the full size is needed. Our pup was small and can now hold it until he gets outside, therefore it is no longer needed. But it made house training a sinch as dogs naturally want to do thier business on the potty patch. Save money instead of buying new!!!!
