3m tape residue removal???

so my front bumper just got repainted 3-4 days ago

I stick on my license plate on to the bumper with some 3m tape, now it looks kind of weird so i decided to custom make a specific bracket that holds the plate. Removed the plate but have 10-20cm left of 3m tape thats left on the bumper. I tried to pick it with my nail and one part of the paint got peeled off by me picking it.

What is the best way to remove this? can KEN remove this?

helps will be greatly appreciated

thx

the paint needs to cure atleast a month, ask the guys who repainted your bumper, they will know exact time.
as to where to buy 3M adhesive remover, you'll have to do a bit of googling, but i know it can be bought in the states, thats bout it

The body shop didn't tell you not to attach anything or not to apply any pressure to the paint till it fully cures?
Even if you get the tape off without any further damage it will most likely leave an impression in the cured paint that will always be slightly visible.

perhaps im better off putting back on my license plate with 3m tape where i glue on in the first place, to cover the stupid damage and without bothering to remove the residue
