I switched to driving a 1.5L 4 banger from a 2.8L V6... so far so good!

So that leaves Chevron and Shell..

"If I filled my gas tank with half Shell with V-Power, and the other half with Chevron with Techron gas.. does that mean that my gas is VTEC?"

:troll:

Already using Chevron 94 since 1999 when I bought my car...

Says who??
What makes you think if they dont get business they will lower it??
Gas will continue to go up and they know we need it, simple as that!

Guess the guy doesn't know that gas station's profit margin on gas is razor thin. Most of the cost comes from taxes. Want cheaper gas, petition the government.

Exactly, half of what we pay on every liter of gas actually goes to the government in the form of tax.

Not true anymore. Most if not all Shell 91 has removed the 0% ethanol sticker and not sure if this matters, but you can also see that they're coming from the same place whereas Chevron 94 has an individual pump located away from their 87/89/91.

Only true non-ethanol gas right now is Chevron 94, I believe.
(Heard rumors that Petro 94 = no ethanol, not sure about that though)

Costco gas bars FTW, and its Chevron gas as well ;)

pt roberts or stateside. i save roughly $25 each 90L tank for my premium only heavy drinker v8 getting gas across the boarder. minus $5 for gas to go there and back im still ahead $20. average savings $0.30 per liter. on a good day, $0.45+ per liter. it has become a sunday ritual. its a pretty nice cruise when the weather is good.

Tegra_Devil 04-15-2011 08:08 AM

y cant chevron give airmiles..FUCK!

this world would be such a better place!

FerrariEnzo 04-15-2011 08:24 AM

i use only Shell and Chevron.. the 2 closest to my place.. they are across from each other... if one is busy, i go the other one.. win win :)

i hate it when you go to save-on and at the checkout they say, "do you want to you all your points you've accumulated for 5 years to get your lemon for free?"

No Costco only has 89 & 91. They just buy it from the Chevron and don't have acces to the higher grades. As well the Techron is not added of course.
