Chevy Volt Burns Down Garage Quote:
http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....arage-fire.png damn, and I was gonna get one of these not sure if its a repost; couldn't find anything |
same............. instead of saving on gas, you get to rebuild half your house........... let's hope nobody was hurt and everything is covered by warranty. Western Financial Group? Yep........... no worries. |
so... if its a manufacturers defect, doest hat mean Chevrolet pays for the cost of rebuilding their home? on that note, I wouldn't want a home made by Chevy :troll: |

Sue them for money!!1 |
Lame news article. The fire investigation hasn't even been done yet and they're making it sound like the Volt started it. If it turns out to be something else, perhaps Chevy should sue the paper for printing this article before the results are in. Posted via RS Mobile |

Ohm my god! I hope everyone is OK! Watt could have caused such a disaster? |
Garage full of junk and two cars. A brand new Chevy Volt and what looks like a POS Suzuki Sidekick with the hood open like it was being worked on. And they blame the Chevy for the fire. Posted via RS Mobile |
chevy volt used thunder bolt. |

But of course this is Revscene, so blame is automatically assigned to anything named Chevrolet, Ford, or Dodge |

Chevy should be CHARGED the amount it costs to rebuild the house. lol I'm all out. |
you people try way too hard... |
"GM announced that it had sold 321 Chevy Volts. This is in addition to the 326 Volts sold in December, indicating 647 have so far reached customers. Nissan for its part only sold 87 Leafs , and only 19 in December for a total of 106 units sold, less than one sixth as many as Volts." They are not exactly "burning up the showroom floors" with new sales. A total of 647 sold, in spite of all that advertising, Govt support and subsidy, Obamas's personal endorsement, being car of the year etc...I guess the thought of replacing the $10,000 battery may be holding some potential buyers back? Or maybe the spontaneous combustion problem? |
