You have "Good Samaritan Law" confused with "Duty to Rescue" law.

So no, the McDonalds employees had no legal obligation to come to the rescue of that wo/man.

And even then it's usually "without comprimising ones own safety" or something along those lines. Which, you can say anything isn't safe these days.

But it is petty misdemeanor in Minnesota and a few other states have consider it as a adding duty-to-assist subdivisions to their good Samaritan statutes

but your right it doesn't apply to this case.
