What's so short about it? I left with over ten times my buy-in. :D

fliptuner 09-03-2011 05:29 PM

Short 2 players at a house game near Gilmore station tonight. .25/.50, straddle, 7/2 post flop ($2ea.), pretty good action, dealer (that we tip).

Initial buy in is $40-$60 and you can add $10 to every rebuy after. ie. your initial buy in was $50, 2nd can be $40-60, 3rd can be $40-$70...

Only playing from 7-12pm tonight (maybe later) PM me a contact #, quick, if you're interested.

Greenstoner 09-03-2011 08:11 PM

^ late notice bro

LSF22 09-03-2011 08:29 PM

^^ Damn. Saw it too late.

Anyone wanna get a game going in the next couple days? Itching to play!

PornMaster 09-03-2011 08:59 PM

we should do pokerstars home games

CRS 09-04-2011 12:47 AM

I remember an RS member hosting a few games here a couple months back.

Since this member didn't post in this thread, I won't post name but it was awesome!

LSF22 09-04-2011 02:12 AM

^ Would this member be willing to host another mini poker meet?

I'm all for tipping the dealer and splitting whatever other costs that are needed...
needless to say a group of 6-8 would be ideal.

How much were the buy ins and stakes at the previous poker meets?

It was $10 dollar buy-ins so nothing crazy.

I think there were like 6 of us? There were 2 that flaked.

XplicitLuder 09-04-2011 01:34 PM

ahh i just had a poker night with my buddies last night haha, cept we are all broke ass teens and we only played with 5$ buy in lol im down to play if anyone sets something up, depending on how much are buy-ins x=

LSF22 09-04-2011 02:06 PM

^ You're a teen?! lol I think you walked past me at summer meet, you a giant! I'm probably as tall as where your name tag was...

If more people are down, we should make a list. We can do small buy ins $10 or $20, and if anyone wants to, just re buy after.

fliptuner 09-04-2011 02:38 PM

Yeah, sorry guys. Should've just PM'd me anyways, we ended up playing til 4. lol

To give an idea of the action, of 8 players: 3 @+/- $50, 1 @-$180, 1@+$100, 1@-$500, 1@+$500

I went on a rollercoaster ride, down $350, up $250, then down $180 for the night.

It's not a big game by any means but there's lots of action and a lot lighter than playing at the casino. The dealer will rabbit hunt if you want, you can run in several times on big pots, etc. etc.

If we're short again, I'll post up.

rice cooker 09-04-2011 03:00 PM

also cant stand short stackers, we need a 100bb - uncapped game. that be an awesome game

fliptuner 09-04-2011 03:18 PM

Short stacks don't last in our game cause they're only given 2 decisions: all in or fold. 90% of the time they'll get called by 4+ players and get run down or no one will care about the main pot cause the side pot will be huge. And if they don't get called, whoopdidoo, they just won 75 cents. lol...good job!

ek1 09-04-2011 08:47 PM

put me on whatever list there may be

NLY 09-04-2011 09:15 PM

count me in!

BUMP

I couldn't find the other poker threads.

(still) Watching final 3 at WSOP Main Event. +9hours, fuck. At this point they're all within 10% of where they started 3 way action. More all-ins now that the blinds are up and shortstack has to make moves.

Either way, great final 3. Great players, both in skill and sportsmanship. Too bad TSN fucked up the schedule and we missed the first 6 guys getting knocked out.

I know who I want to win and he's been playing excellent and staying composed through a few tough beats. (Not going to name anyone in order not to ruin it for some but if you're watching, you kno who it is)

Vale46Rossi 10-31-2012 06:31 AM

The kid is playing really damn well, if he wins would be the youngest WSOP winner!

fliptuner 10-31-2012 08:20 AM

Fell asleep at 5 and pvr'd the rest.

I'm so glad the best player won. He was composed the whole tournament. Best final table I've seen in a while.

chipmunk604 11-03-2012 09:30 PM
