Don't get the bubble tea from the shrimp cracker vendor at the end of the main food walkway. It's directly across from the viet booths and closest to the old stage.

About 1/2 my cup of taro milk tea was crushed ice. I don't think I've ever had bubble tea with ice in it and it sucked

as the owner of 8500ft, nothing makes me happier than to hear somebody say that. I'm glad you enjoyed it and we will be there all summer.

What's with the latino performer yelling on stage?

8500 ft shaved ice was good, I never had ice so thin and long.
Also had turkey leg at the smoked stand. Best $3 spent.

Are you J____? Or are you guys co-owners/partners?

BaoTurbo 05-14-2011 08:19 PM

Usually they're not all open but there are a lot of people. I worked there one summer for a while and it wasn't pretty.

Those planning to go tonight, don't bother cause I just came back from it. A lot of booths closing early due to the rain. It was so bunk tonight. Just a heads up to everyone.

king_2011 05-15-2011 07:15 PM

^ not sure but looks like its going to be another bunk night there even if its opened tonight. Not even worth it to go, rip-off prices for snacks and finding parking is tough. Towing companies towed so many people last night. To add, a few of my frends got sick from eating there today.

Retrac 05-15-2011 07:42 PM

Just came back, there were only a handful of stalls opened. Not really worth it, however you might get better deals at the few stalls open because of the lack of people!

darkfroggy 05-15-2011 09:20 PM

Araaadi 05-15-2011 09:21 PM
