What would you want taught in a dog obedience class

Just as the title states. What would you want taught in a puppy and adult dog obedience class? What are the important things that you taught your dog?

Adult dogs:

If your dog barks at the door when people enter your home, the trainer may provide you with techniques to break that cycle.

I found getting your dog to signal to go out for a walk / bathroom break by touching the door effective for me too.
