no. just the guy that didn't tighten and torque down his lugs properly, causing his studs to break off.

put rims that dont have correct bore on your car and drive it for a few months....then come back and report....

I still have my 3/5 wheel bolts that sheered when i ran a cheap set of rims for winter that had a bore larger than my hub....

I've been driving three years plus with an "incorrect bore size." 20+ track days.

Center bore does shit. It's only for centering. You really believe that plastic ring or the studs supports the weight of the car?

No problems. No vibrations. Nothing. Maybe you should learn how to torque your wheels?

Thanks.

What?

Look up friction force.

To believe that the weight of the car is supported by a hub ring, or the studs is ridiculous.

Maybe it is if you don't know how to properly mount a wheel which CAN result in sheered studs.

lawl

I drove on my old AW11 w/o hubcentric rings for 3 years. I was more concerned whether my car was going to fall apart on me or not.

1500lb car vs. a 3500lb car... also...~200whp car vs. 400whp car......

honestly, to each their own. I personally like doing things the "right" way and not skimping out on a 100 bux in parts....better safe than sorry.

my STI is 3300 lbs and 300-ish whp.. i've caught airtime on kerbing at the track.

and it's not skimping out on parts. it's just money better spent elsewhere.

but to end this pointless discussion, you're right- to each his own

I buy hub centric rings on Centricrings.com
