This makes sense.
I'd rather spend my tax dollars on preventing these guys from wasting a shit load later on when they're on their death bed dying of the various lung diseases or cancers

I do not wish on anyone to know what it feels like to slowly drown day by day. To feel the constant pain and nausa of chemotherapy. To see how cancer has physically and emotionally drained and individual until they feel like it is easier to die then to live. This is why I am an strong supporter of anything that prevents any form of cancer.
Huh? If you claim to feel sorry for the pain and suffering for the ill, then you should support euthanasia (which I do). I also support death panels where hospital administrators get to decide who gets their treatment cut off because of a poor prognosis.

Bro, that's pretty messed up.
You support killing someone if it's their choice? Yet, you completely disregard their choice when they want to fight to live?

It's one thing to let someone die who is in pain and they give consent.
It's completely another thing to essential KILL someone just because their prognosis doesn't look good. Yes, I know they might die or they might only have a week to live, but why can't they fight it?

Healthcare costs are spiralling out of control. Medicare will essentially be bankrupt if there isn't a cap placed on the medical costs of patients who have a poor prognosis. If they have private insurance or are willing to pay to keep themselves alive, then by all means.
