I was going to say, someone or something can knock the camera out of your hand while that thing is off the holster. Even worse is if you kill someone with your falling camera. Part = $20. Liability = jail. |

Got mine already. Pretty awesome device. PERFECT for hiking. |
did you order online? or can you go to their store/warehouse and browse in person? |
Oh, I got the thing in the OP |
i emailed them and he said sure, c'mon over to the warehouse. it's in North Van(Welch St.) too, less than 10 minutes from my house. |
what? I dont understand. Are you saying that the "capture" device is for sale already? Where did you get it? |
well, discovered that if i have to remove my tripod plate to use these systems, i consider it a fail. i even noticed in that Cotton Carrier vid that he's got a tripod slung over his shoulder. i'd like to see him use it. |

just ordered one of those clippy clips. hope it arrives in time before my paris trip in mid-september. i'd still wear a strap around my neck with the clip hanging off my backpack. just in case. |
I have both the Capture Camera Clip and the Black Rapid RS5. Capture = Hiking, active stuff, because of the rigid attachment. Black Rapid = Street Shooting King, because of the speed. However, it is not rigid, and you can easily bang your camera aruond if you're not careful. |
I've had this for a while and I just haven't really been using it. I go out on hikes but I leave the gear behind. It doesn't work for my type of style. If anyone's interested, $50 and it's yours |
Just bought a Black Rapid. To be quite honest, you can just wear a regular camera strap like this (not around your neck but like a messenger bag) and it isn't too much different. ...and apart from the little tripod thread part, you can easily build your own for like $10. |
