| Computer Random Turning off
I have done all virus scan malware etc.
This happens once every week.
The computer would unexpectedly turn off, no warnings nothing it just gos KAPUT.
And if I press the power button it doesn't turn on, I have to take the power plug out for 5 minutes or so and then it will boot
any solutions?
The PSU is a 600w Thermaltake and only 1 month old

I'm thinking it's the PSU.
This used to happen to my brother's. Swapped it out, and everything's fine. Now he can play SC2 on high too

Third - if it's not the PSU itself, it could be the PSU fan, causing the PSU to overheat.

Check your fans in your tower if they are working properly. It might be that something is overheating. Could be anything from PSU or CPU

OP if this was VOT, and I saw your username posting a thread like this... first thing I'd do is troll....
But my brother's computer have been experiencing random reboots/shutdowns/unbootable lately.
Turned out to be a faulty stick of ram
so if the PSU suggestion dosen't work out for you, try experimenting with your ram!
