I was guessing it's more that people other than those who have a vagina don't like Ashton Kutcher very much as an actor.

Chuck Lorre is a genius. *HE* is what made the show, not Charlie Sheen. Sheen is an empty shell of a man. He is the perfect actor, for the role he was given, but he is still nothing without a script written for him. Just look at his Torpedo of Fail tour.

Even The Big Bang Theory isn't as funny as it used to be, yet the acting, especially Sheldon, keeps the viewers coming back.
2.5 Men is the only show with staying power and that is all because of Charlie. The last few seasons have had terrible storylines involving Alan and Jake, yet Charlie still manages to draw the audiences.
2.5 Men will fail with Ashton, he's a terrible actor and no-one cares about Alan and Jake. Chuck made a big mistake choosing Ashton, yet I fear it was his only choice as everyone else who could have filled Charlie's shoes declined.
