UBC Parking Those of you who have unpaid tickets will have a higher chance of getting towed now. It appears that UBC Parking recently acquired automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) on some vehicles. The parking patrols simply need to drive around parking lots, and the ALPR will scan all the plates. Those with outstanding tickets will most likely be visited by a tow truck. http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/5...g0174so.th.jpg Just as a side note, Impark in Richmond acquired a few vehicles with ALPR too. |
FFS really? They use the fucking money to buy ALPR vehicles? How about fixing some of the fucking roads? Thanks for the heads up |
yeah pretty fucking pissed a university would blow money on this kind of tech...did they get a lot of money from that class-action law suit on parking? |
A $18 operation could solve this problem :troll: |
