You can find them at 7-11. I believe most major supermarkets should have them as well. |
Has anyone checked in the USA for the Thunder crunch chips? OR are they just not available anymore? Checked out this site and they are not even listed: http://www.taquitos.net/snack_reviews/Jalapeno-Chips |

If these chips are sold by IGA and London Drugs, chances are, it's sold at H.Y. Louie. From what I understand through the grapevine, H.Y. Louie supplies LD and IGA. :) |
Thundercrunch was a brand that they stopped producing along time ago. Not sure on the parent company - maybe old dutch? I was more of fan of the "Hot Wings" flavour, which I found the blair's buffalo wing to be the closest in taste. Love it! - Bought a box of 14......yeah! |
Yeah, Thunder Crunch was made by Old Dutch. |
Were they made by old dutch or were they bought out by old dutch and discontinued? From the little i could dig up on the internet, i got the impression they were bought out. Anyway, if you buy Tim's Jalapeno, post a review! :) |
I got a bag of the Tim's. Mind you two things here; I vaguely remember Thundercrunch Jalapeno flavor since I was still only a kid when I had it, second is that the only other type of Jalapeno chips I've tried are Miss Vickies and the black and green OLD DUTCH ones(jalapeno and cheddar). The instant I opened the Tims bag I took a big sniff and it choked me with its jalapeno heat. I took a bite and it felt like it time warped me back to my childhood. The chips were nicely cut, not too thin not too thick, good solid crunch. Tim's was also not overwhelmed by any sort of salty flavor, the jalapeno stands out in the chip! I only limited myself to two chips, but I'll be craving it tomorrow. |
Anyone seen the Tim's chips or the chips in the OP in Richmond anywhere? Checked safteway/save-on/7-11/macs/danny's even the iga at blundel/garden city... didn't find either anywhere =( lol. |
It's a sad sad day when Hostess discontinued Hickory Sticks :( It got pulled from Walmart and Superstore shelves |

I get sick of them after 1/4 of a bag coz they're so salty, but they are damned good when you are craving them. Anybody remember Drive-Thru Chips? They were actually shaped like french fries, and came in Ketchup and All-Dressed flavours. I loved them, then one day they disappeared. |

We still them in our store. Look here under other Frito-lay brands http://www.pepsico.ca/en/Brands/Frito-Lay-Canada.html |
I just tried a bag of PC brand Jalapeno chips yesterday and the flavour was almost spot on!! Even the crunch itself brought back memories of Thundercrunch. It came in a white bag, said it was a new product. |

London drugs stopped carrying Tim's Jalapeno chips... which made me sad. Is there anywhere else you guys know of that still sells them here? The fatty inside me is getting restless, and they were the closest thing to thundercrunch from what I remember. |
i love the PC brand chips...they have great flavours, i love the ballpark thick cut chips |
