Image quality

I shoot all of my photo's in RAW with my D80. I post-process my images using LR/PS. I save my final edit as a jpeg incase I want to upload it or send it to people. However, when I view the jpeg when I open it up with Windows picture and fax viewer, the image color is completely different than what I originally had when I viewed it in LR/PS. The color is lighter, than what I originally had.

It looks fine if I upload it to flickr and view it. Is this because of the color calibration of my monitor, or the windows picture viewing program??

Any help would be appreciated, I know this is kind of complicated to explain.

Try irfanview or picasa. It's probably the color profiles.

I had this problem before, it's your monitor colour profile. You need to to change it to sRGB.
