All it took was ONE bad play by us and it was over.
Yup, I hate that too. I don't want to spend the whole game trying to prevent a damn glitch goal and not score. It's either you try to score and then get picked apart by the cherry pickers and glitchers or you play good D and shut them down but not have any scoring chances. I always wondered if there were no glitch goals, how many of these "top" players would still be ranked as high. They need to make people earn their goals, not just give it to them when they repeatedly do the same thing over and over. The funny thing is that when you shut a glitcher down, they don't know what else to do because all they're used to doing is that one thing. It's pretty funny

I can't go into detail, but NHL 13 looks like the best iteration yet. Played about a dozen versus games and several 6 vs 6 games while I was there and it definitely played better than NHL 12 despite being a work in progress.

Until you run into a glitcher who has ALL THE TRICKS IN THE BAG. You know the ones that can exploit every part of the game to the max. It's impossible to knock the puck off them with them doing all these impossible, unrealistic twists and turns and can glitch the goalie from any angle. You focus ur defense on him only to have him pass to his wide open teammates for the one-timer. These are frustrating games to the max.

My favorite type of player to play against are the ones who mash that pass button and always call for the pass no matter where they are. All you have to do is hold LT(L2) and stand in the passing lane and you'll intercept it 95% of the time.

I hear you about those ultimate glitchers. I really hope there's no figure skaters in NHL 13. The ones who jack up their speed, puck control, deking, wrist shot power and agility to 99 while sacrificing everything else, these are the guys that are rated 87. My guy is rated 84 but is pretty much balanced everywhere except for high passing, offensive/defensive awareness and poke check. I read that 83/84 rating is better than 87 but it's subjective I guess.

Yeah I love playing "tappers" is what I call them. Always tapping the pass button right when the AI players get the puck. It's awesome playing ones that love tapping when the goalie has the puck and you're just standing there in front of the goalie. Free goals FTW

I really liked the part in the video when the guy was going top speed that he couldn't cut in so easily. Now people will have to get used to gliding on order to make cuts. Also D men will have to actually play position or get blown by. They can't remain stational and catch up to you from a stand still. Like I said after I watched the video, I'm excited about NHL 13. It looks pretty good from what I can see. I was prepared not to get 13 if it was anything like 12. All I want is no figure skaters and no glitch goals. Make people earn their goals by playing smart team hockey not this 1 on 5 dangling/figure skating/glitch goal fest.

same but it can't happen in the nhl series, only way to prevent exploits is good defense and that's how it's always gonna be

if anyone wants HUT cards on ps3 for free, I got tons just sitting on my account for a couple of months
let me know

GM Connected was by far my favourite mode at Community Day.

I'd be down to coach/GM a team in the league, but considering I'm already dedicated to 2 leagues, including one I'm running, I wouldn't be playing.

It would be pretty sick if we could get 210 people together to participate in the league (30 GMs and 6 players/team) ...

I'm on PS3
