As far as I'm aware, you shouldn't need a credit check; it just says "prepay for 2 months", and they do have a prepaid service (that's exactly the same as a postpaid service, except you get cut off if you haven't got your bill paid by the cutoff date).
No idea about numbers, I'm gonna drop by tonight and see what the deal is. I'm also going to find out when it all starts; I work at 10 on the other side of downtown. The original post said 9, but now it says 9:30. One is doable for me, the other is not. I'll keep the thread updated.

Doors open at 10AM; if you have a job, you're SOL. They have ONLY FIFTY 9700s. If you are #51 in line, you might as well leave.
They say they'll be announcing new $1 deals all month on the weekends...but if they say the weekend starts on Friday, nobody who has employment will get any of it. Damnit.

The Blackberries are pretty much brand new. They're those 14 day and/or under 30 minute usage returns.
