picked this up from psn when it came out last summer :)

AzNightmare 06-02-2011 08:33 AM

Nice! I remembered some places had the 4player arcade version, and some places had the 6player version.
But the players on the side were almost standing perpendicular to the screen. I hated joining in the game if I had to get a side spot.

hal0g0dv2 06-02-2011 08:49 AM

sickkkkkkkkk

EndLeSS8 06-02-2011 08:52 AM

Lazer Illusions at Brentwood Mall had the 6 player version

If you remember that, you are awesome

ZenZa 06-02-2011 10:28 AM

the only time I beat the whole game was playing on emulator, used up so many credits

shantz 06-02-2011 10:53 AM

Just downloaded... so sick!

Shorn 06-02-2011 11:40 AM

so it does have multiplayer?

invader 06-02-2011 12:29 PM

I played it today for a while.
It sucks when you run out of lives that you can't switch characters like in Streets of Rage.

shawn79 06-02-2011 01:06 PM

They are desperately trying to hold onto their share of smartphone users, and recently have opened up really nice looking Nokia stores in several malls. They are really cool, but as soon as you pick up a phone and see what a clunky piece of crap the OS is... well... ;)

Based on my observations, most people are using Android smartphones. I see a lot of Samsungs and HTCs every day. You still probably see more iphones overall though. It might be different on HK island though, I imagine trendy iphones outnumber everything else by quite a bit.

invader 06-02-2011 09:37 PM

Argh...cant save progress :(

Obsideon 06-02-2011 10:04 PM

I bought this at the Playstation Store on my PS3 just for kicks, brings back old memories of me pumping endless quarters into the machines lol ... I was so poor back in the day too and I spent like all my lunch money on this game... damn bosses :(

in all honesty i dont buy the h8 on the OS granted the menu structure is convoluted

but the question of the UI i actually dont find an issue with

i used to h8 on android and ios about their deficiencies but when you really play around with devices from all OS's they each have their pros and cons and it just comes down to user pref (even windows phone bleeech)

what i h8 about nok that they still haven't changed even with Elop is the speed of updates (in fact they seem to have slowed their pace)

the updates issue has caused me to stop supporting Nok/Sym ;) next time i upgrade its going to be something else.. something with a camera that can come close to whatever Nokia has out

(wow ive ranted on a bit too much rofl)

Wongtouski 06-02-2011 10:20 PM

I think I'm going to have to get this game. Fucking Playstation Network does NOT have this game in Their (Asian/HK) Store. I even had to e-mail Konami and Sony and inquire it's availability and they had no idea when it would come to Asia. WTF.

StylinRed 06-03-2011 01:36 PM

login to the canadian or american store and buy it then
