Once I can decide which player to get on my blank 3rd jersey, I plan to take it to PCC to get crested and have the SCF patch stitched on.

Yeah it looks pretty damn decent, got mine done as well when I got the home jersey blank crested...

It shouldn't have the stanley cup finals patch on it. That patch is a $24~ item you buy if you want and then have sewn on.

I hate how people are all going out to buy their jerseys now and commentating on the Canucks like they're Tom Larscheid. (They probably don't even know who he is)

Iceman_2K 06-05-2011 10:02 PM

What book are you asking about?

I'm just saying how people never even skated (i.e. played hockey) and they pretend they know the game inside out.

People who never watched a single game prior to the playoffs and they pretend to know the Canucks inside out.

Iceman_2K 06-05-2011 10:05 PM

Well, they're showing some kind of team support. More likely that they want to fit into the latest fad or style. But at this point, all the more support for the team!

Buy a jersey. Know the Canucks inside and out:troll:

It's getting to that point where my friends who have no business talking about the Canucks (and bought a jersey)...now seem to know a lot more than i do after they've made it to the SCF.

Splmash 06-05-2011 10:07 PM

Y'all talking about this: http://www.frozenpond.com/xcart/prod...p?imageid=6483 ?

My friend works for the Canucks/Rogers Arena and he snagged a couple those and towels for me.

I think the pucks were 4.99 or 9.99 I was in the team store when they were playing Nashville, they had a ton of pucks.

Iceman_2K 06-05-2011 10:10 PM

There have been several books out about the Canucks - I'm not sure which one this cup finals one is. I own the "Vancouver Canucks - The Silver Edition", and the "Canucks at Fourty" books. I don't think the cup finals book is out yet, since the cup finals aren't over yet for this year. As for the puck, well, if you're looking for one that says Stanley cup Champions, that won't be out until the winner is declared. I'm not sure if there's anything special being used now for the cup finals itself - there may be one, but i've not seen it yet.

Patches are $24.99 and is available at all the Canucks Stores (Team Store, Playoff Store and Outlet Store), although I heard the Hastings location was out of stock today.

Wasn't looking for it but I'm pretty sure I saw the pucks at the Team Store today.

Bought the book when I was at Game 1 and haven't touched it yet. When I was at the Team Store today at noon they had a good amount of stock.

Iceman_2K 06-05-2011 10:11 PM

Anything worth noting inside of that guide? Other than getting it autographed by both teams.....

YES.. that

Not worth the $10 IMHO. Even though I paid squat for it. And pucks were 10-15 if i remember correctly.

@n3wb

Not saying I'm the #1 Canucks fan in the world (those Green Men wins), but I'm just saying that it's obvious that most people are just following this team because.. everyone else is. No one cared when we weren't winning (or in the playoffs).

The one shown there is a replica, like the ones sold in sport chek, champs, Official Team storeetc. The on ice ones aren't generally made available to the public, while the stores like The Hockey Shop sell the Retail Authentics which are pretty much the same as the one the players wear on the ice (fight strap, sewn on shoulder patches)

I think the ones sold at the team store are like 139.99 (someone correct me if im wrong). Ones with names are 189?
