I was looking at doing the same thing. I want a 40th anni jersey to commerate the cup winning year :D and I'd want it with the 40th anni patch. Where else would I put the SCF patch? If you ever see me with a setup like that, you can facepalm in front of me too.

I put the SCF patch on my wife's 3rd blue hockey stick jersey, but I guess you'd think that's a waste too.

The SCF patches are super easy to DIY iron on, and its very secure even around the edges. Just make sure its placed straight before pressing it on. I may get it stitched on at a later time just to make sure its even more secure, but I'd have to learn to fire up the sewing machine.

in my opinion...i think that if we do win the cup this year, most ppl will know that we win it on the 40th year anyway...so there isnt a need to show off the sc finals patch on a jersey that wasn't really meant for it...

but again, thats just my own opinion and i have no rights to judge anyone on how/ what they want to put on their jersey...i would not laugh or diss anyone even if he/ she has the patch stitched upside down or whatever....just that i wouldnt do it for my own jersey and stuff.

That's 2 more than I have! I have a 1998 Canada jersey, and the dark blue Orca from the Naslund days. And they're both in Canada right now :(

Not that the weather here is suitable for jersey wearing....

Iceland one was the actual one worn by #8 Wiesel in the movie. I bought it off some guy who worked on the set. He had other players too but even the shittiest Ducks player like Averman went for $800+. Conway and Banks in the thousands...

I like the current logo ones better than the new REEBOK, otherwise the rest are the same.

RacingMetro92 06-08-2011 08:24 PM

I'm trying to figure out what names to put on the back of my jerseys, having a hard time though lol. I have a Flying V, 94 Skate, and the home jersey they use now, as well as the 3rd alternate they're using now.

I'm thinking Snepsts or Smyl for the V, Linden for the skate , Naslund for the home jersey (or a player playing right now) and Kurtenbach for the alternate. Anyone have any other names to throw on a jersey?

shawn79 06-08-2011 08:28 PM

ronning

G 06-08-2011 09:20 PM

So I got a SCF patch. They said it's heat press? But, im sure you can stitch it on right? Where would/ or have you gone to get your's stitched or pressed on? Also, whats the turn around? I know the Canucks store has a 2-4 week wait which is kinda absurd...

jeedee 06-08-2011 09:27 PM

Get it stiched at The Hockey Shop. It's right by Surrey Central Skytrain.

$6 including taxes and its a 10 minute job.
