Really? Are you that sensitive?

We should be failing you, if that's the case.

No stand alone price.

I love how they just released the 'Shaw Plan Personalizer', then dropped the ability to remove the TV package. Some great personalization right there.

But that was expected. They have only internet plans. And then they have the broadband ones tied with tv.

darkfroggy 06-08-2011 12:47 PM

HighSpeed feels like WelfareSpeed looking at these plans.

Mananetwork 06-08-2011 01:18 PM

Fail me all you want but the section is there for a reason...meant so you don't have redundant things cluttering up the site

Shaw just called me today.
  1. My High Speed Extreme is turning into a Broadband 50 plan
  2. They will be sending a service tech out on monday to do stuff
  3. I get some sort of Shaw HD TV trial with it, didn't ask too much about that.
  4. It's going to cost me $50 instead of the $59
Thought you guys would want to know. It sounds really too good to be true.

StylinRed 06-11-2011 05:09 AM

they're forcing you to change??

look in the computer tech thread a couple guys who are on broadband 50 are getting the same speeds as when they were on Extreme (which in some cases are slower than others with extreme)

Culverin 06-11-2011 05:14 AM

Bandwidth 25 -> 50 Mbps
Data Cap 250 GB -> 400 GB

For $9 less, sounds like a bargain to me. And the speeds I posted last page, that was before the change. I don't think the upgraded plans come into effect until this month anyways.

StylinRed 06-11-2011 05:29 AM

yes im aware of the cap and bandwitdh

didnt notice the part about it being $9 less though :D nice; same as the extreme price on the old plan

but as for speed i was speaking of here http://www.revscene.net/forums/chang...632852p17.html

willystyle and mr.happyslip have already upgraded speeds they're getting r the same
