Just went up this morning,

Current best: 39:50 end of last year
Today (First run of 2011): 46:30 after a full 8 months of doing jack over winter (minus snowboarding)
This years goal: 35!

Time to get my fitness up, last year i was going 3-5x a week. This year i know 35 is a lofty goal (maybe not since the course has changed) but I'm working full time in LANGLEY of all places and plan to try to go up at least 3x a week.

Current Best Times?
59:04 It was my first time last year lol.

New Goal Time?
I'm hoping I can reach 55:00 or faster

Frequency?
I've only went 4 times last summer, So i think i'll double it to 8. Every 2 weeks I guess.

Tips for the newbs?
Do not take any breaks at all, just continue going up. Those breaks just make you so much more lazy afterwards.

Went up today, but major fail accidentally resetting my watch somewhere in the first quarter. I was up there yesterday, hit a 42:30 so the times coming down, although today I was feeling even better and would guess somewhere in the high to 41s.

My tips for people really serious about dropping their time.

Biking. When I started consistently biking last year (22km to work every other day) my times just dropped. That and learning how to use my diaphragm to help me breath helped as well.

For those with a Grind Timer, is it a one time purchase or do u have to re-up annually?

Best time? 35 minutes. 10 years ago.

Current time? 60 minutes.

Goal to go up? None at all. I'd rather do real hikes with actual views instead of a glorified stairclimb populated by tourists.

Rypien apparently holds the best time at 36 minutes....but i am not surprised that a heft majority of them will be done in less than 40 minutes.
