FS/FT:1993 Subaru WRX Many of you probably saw the last FS thread. Since then, everythings changed. Bought the car with a blown motor. Needed a bore, new pistons and gaskets. Bore'd it over .5 and went with oversized pistons from Subaru. Everything got rebuilt and ran great. Then a week later, my old timing belt tensioner went, ended up bending all my valves. Long story short, I need all new valves, timing belt tensioner and after digging more a new clutch slave and throw bearing. All in all everythings new there now. Car runs great now, but the welded center diff went. Have a second transmission now to swap the center and front diff out. Also have a non welded rear diff so ready for AWD again! Hey, so whats the HP on it, and is this an STI engine or a WRX engine? |
Honestly hasn't been dyno'd. I've driven the highway with a friend in his stock 05 STi and was close with him. Its a stock JDM block thats been bored but with 04 WRX heads, ecu etc. Only the block is JDM, rest is USDM. |

neither. Its the type of paint. Its matte color with flattening agent. |
