I had no doubt Japan would be back up and running within a short period of time. They have probably the best system in place to recover from an earthquake considering they get so many...and the Japanese just seem to fix shit.

Meanwhile, New Orleans is still being rebuilt...

Money is also a big factor. Also not having a total re-reDumbfk ex-president create a Derpville for future generations helps too.

WTF, is this even possible to clean up that mess in only 3 months?

mas604 06-10-2011 05:17 PM

That's tragic.

don't get me wrong, i'm happy the country is recovering. what i see on the pictures is what i'd consider recovery on a normal level. astonishing would be skyscrapers in place of the debris. you are all easily amused. bring on the fails

Japan is more motivated to get shit done.
Good on them, I've got no doubt that they will be back on their feet soon.

Wanna know how they pull it apart? Check out this crazy video on a shipwrecking yard in Pakistan...some dangerous shit

Hopefully they have some better technology :)

From an economist point of view, rebuilding and cleaning up the desctruction may actually stimulate their economy enough to drop interest rates.
