Like they say, hindsight is 20/20. He should have realized the consequences before committing arson/attempted arson.

The damage control they are doing now doesn't make me feel sorry for him either. Without his family or his lawyer telling him what to do I doubt he would have apologized like that. Nicely written apology statement but all he's doing is reading some lines. Would have been more believable if he spoke without any script.

I was just thinking about the irony of these people crying and apologizing after being busted as opposed to smiling and laughing during the crime.

Yeah, its easy look in hindsight what you should have done, or what smarter decisions you should have made. With most of the idiots there, including that polo player guy, he should have left and not be involved.

This is the full statement, not the 3 minute one where Nathan is crying already. At the start he doesn't even seem sorry. Just mechanically reading lines given to him by his lawyer. He only starts crying when he gets to the consequences part.

He couldn't even answer properly when asked if the only reason he came forward was because he got caught on camera.

Doubt it would last long, being there is a shortage of doctors in BC. If you were in need to critical surgery, would you decline being operated by this surgeon because of what his son did?

It's unfortunate that these people are being made an example of, you can blame/thank social media for that.
