Some guy decided to call someone out.

To turn the topic to some positive things: Anyone see the jab/slash Luongo did on the 3rd period? I forgot which Blues player on the receiving end of it was during the scrum, but I'm liking the new found nastiness.

That and his on-ice stick smash after being pulled his previous game... I'm starting to see the battler/fire back in Luongo... just this time, with a little more edge than before, since I've never seen him hack at another team's player before... (if I'm reading his body language correctly).

Too much panic... the Sedins are still producing at a point per game pace so far, and among the league leaders in points. Relax.

The difference with Gretzky (as I only had the pleasure of seeing him play out of all your examples) is he was versatile enough to be able to react on how he's getting shut down.

As for the Sedins, the last 2 games were pretty bad games though IMO, but 2 games isn't enough to tell, if they've actually been figured out, or it's just one of those games where they just didn't have their legs under them (which is normal for any athlete). If they pick it up and isolate the bad games to just a few and keep it sporadic, then it just might indicate it's the latter, whereas if they continue to struggle, then it MAY indicate the former.... (I said "MAY" <---- for those sensitive homers)

gretzky liked to cycle too lol

The Sedins are having more trouble getting into a cycle than they are once they start the cycle

Teams are just starting to lay the body on them. they play them tighter when they break out, and just hound on them whenever possible.

If anything else, I think the twins need to RETALIATE when they just get MANHANDLED. If not by them, someone needs to step up and just intimidate a bit.

regardless of all that, the twins are still a point per game. our 2nd line isnt clicking, and the defence seems to be sleeping

Its a domino effect if you ask me

When the team is struggling due to 1-3 players, they need be accountable for their poor play, but when the whole team is playing poorly, it's the coaching staff that needs to take the heat.....

Oh yea, where the F is Tanev?

No hate here, I agree the next change should be the coaching staff. We have too much talent to be wasted.

And Tanev is in Chigaco. Sent down when Kesler came back

haha "coaches are hired to be fired"

it would be a good shakeup...but potentially it is a high risk move at the same time. what if the next guy turns out to be a dud? remember that we were within only 1 game last season of the cup.

unless we can lure mike 10inch babcock from the wings, i'd hold off.

Forsberg is who they should emulate.
Sweedish players need more grit.

RT @SportsnetSpec: Steve Mason pulled AGAIN for Columbus - 3-0 Philly after 13 minutes. 9 saves on 12 shots, so no one is playing well for Jackets.
