Luongo created a set of unrealistic expectations in his first season here when he literally willed the team to a first place finish and a 2nd round playoff appearance. In that season, he literally played like God.

But, Canucks fans are fickle and always have an attitude of "what have you done for me lately?"

Vancouver has chased every goalie out of town. It's the cool think to do in vancouver.

Is Schneider a starting goaltender? Potentially yes
Is Luongo better? Clearly yes with his entire career backing him up.

Credibility is what sets goalies apart and it takes a long time to achieve....not "what have you done for me lately" goalies.

See, fanboyism right there. Some people love (insert player name here) > team. Last time I checked, Lu plays for the team, not the other way around. What soured people on Lu is that after signing the big contract, it sure seems more of the latter than the former.

Schneider is the answer if Luongo shits the bed again with his inconsistency.

And this is coming from a Luongo supporter aswell.

I don't care who starts, just aslong as they give us the best chance at winning the cup.

The situation with Schneider is complicated anyways. That article a couple days back on the Canucks RFA options for Schenider dont favor the team too well in terms of flexibility
