Problems stem further than Luongo however he is definitely part of the problem.

Bieksa just had a terrible game. He didnt know what he was doing, why mess the ham/bieksa pairing.

Right now, for sure - though he was playing unreal for a good chunk of the season. Everyone seems to be in the same mental funk right now.

Like I mentioned before, his face looks just like this.....:okay:

He's either in a lot of pain or it's just another day for him. Can't wait till it's over....... sad.

cliffhanger33 03-14-2012 08:59 PM

On a positive note, the Burrows third line was amazing today

He did mention his retirement after this season at the Canucks Superskills. I hope it's not true but he is the oldest dad and brought the oldest kids to the Sunday event. Haha

Cole high fives the ref after scoring

Ikkaku 03-14-2012 10:43 PM

you know MayRay is fucking terrible when Hamhuis has to be the 3rd forward when line 1 is playing

SkinnyPupp 03-14-2012 11:17 PM

Inb4 "Detroit lost tonight too :derp:" as if that they, Boston, etc, have anything to do with the Canucks shitty play and goaltending

Didn't Howard just get back from a groin injury and aren't Lidstrom + Datsyuk still out?

That's like us without Daniel and Edler. We'd suck too.

Defense played absolutely horrible. Bieksa can be blamed for about 3 goals.

Haha Bieksa was -3.

Meanwhile, Tanev was +2!

TouringTeg 03-15-2012 08:52 AM

Don't know if I can blame Lu. Lots more defensive break downs and odd man rushes. PP was stellar so at least we can build on that.

Happy Birthday Jannik Hansen! :Birthday: :toot:

I sometimes have the feeling the Canucks are trying to play god and let a game or two slide so they get to choose who to play in the playoffs. They let Phx win so phx stays in 7th. They don't have to face a team like Chicago or San Jose in the first round.

Either that or they just plain sucking right now.

Expresso 03-15-2012 10:57 AM

Don't worry guys, like some of the previous posters have mentioned the Sedins are saving themselves for the playoffs.

Guess the whole team is following that philosophy now...

I don't think any professional athlete really plays to lose.
