Oh gawd...the conversations this thread has without game days :heckno: :lol |
So with the STL loss, we just need one more point to clinch the West correct? |
^ yes Canucks are two points up with both teams going into their last game of the season. If New York loses and Canucks get a single point, Canucks win the President's Trophy. |
I think we already clinch the west. Even if we lose and STL(48 wins now) wins, we'll have more wins (50 now). So its either San Jose or LA for us in the first round. |

This has been stated like 50 times already.... |

I guess people still don't understand ROW, then again they implemented it not too long ago lol and shows as a specific column now |
|
ROW = total number of regulation plus overtime wins. For tie-breaking purposes, wins obtained in a shootout are not counted. |
San Jose scares me to to play them in the first round. |

Canucks are guaranteed to play either: Phoenix LA SJ I'm not sure who to pick... San Jose would be a fun series, but you can expect them to play a bit edgy considering we took them out last conference finals |

Detroit plays Chicago tomorrow. Nashville plays Colorado. If Detroit beats Chicago and Nashville loses, Detroit will move into 4th and Preds will move into 5th, which would be huge for Detroit, considering how good they have been at home and how bad they have been on the road. However, if Chicago beats Detroit in regulation, Chicago would hold the tie-breaker and that would put Chicago in 5th and Detroit in 6th. |
hmmm first round against the sharks would be pretty interesting and scary at the same time... :accepted: |

I would much rather play San Jose than LA or Phoenix... |
LA road trip? I rather spend the money on the 2nd round though. SJS in the first round doesn't look too favourable. Coyotes would be my pick. In other news, looks like the Bruins will cruise to R2. |
