I dont think the ferrari owner is an asshole.. I mean he lost his cool but the stupid ass cabbie was pretty much taunting him at the beginning of the video (who else knows what he was doing before it).. If you actually listened to the video, you hear the cabbie swearing at the guy before he gets knocked and starts acting like a pussy.. Then the cabbies starts walking and crying towards the guy that hits him??? Who in the right mind walks towards/follows someone who just punched the shit outa him. Unless they want something outa it.

Cabbie is in it for the money for sure.

StylinRed 06-20-2011 12:27 AM

the drive kicks him at the start too or kicks the cab...

ferrari guy was in the wrong... totally went overboard... surprised he didnt get his ass handed to him

people probably thought ht was a drug dealer so they didnt step in ;)

What are people talking about here?? Are you honestly implying that a fender bender is a legitimate excuse to hit someone?! They call it an ACCIDENT for a reason! It's like buying an SUV and then crying because the gas is too expensive for it....You can't buy an exotic car and cry about the insurance deductible or the depreciation of the vehicle when it gets in an accident...It's the COST of having a luxury/exotic vehicle.

I had a brand my BRAND NEW Audi, less than a 1000km on it get hit while it was parked in a stall at work. An asian woman backed up into it by mistake. The damage, although minor cost me $300 deductible and cost $3500 in damage. The lady came into my work place and reported that she had hit a car at the front desk at which point I was notified. I looked at her and said "great, an Asian lady would be the one to hit my car while it's parked." Is it right to think that way, maybe not, but I'm entitled to think as I please. I than realized that the lady could've just drove off and may have gotten away with it completely but instead she decided to come in and do the right thing. Should I have punched her or yelled at her? Absolutely not.

Lastly, why the hell is everyone just standing and WATCHING this unfold. You don't have to take sides on the situation but you CAN intervene to ensure that no one gets hurt or taken advantage of. Clearly the taxi driver is in distress, perhaps call the police and keep the two away from each other.

^The guy recording this is so much of a pussy he wouldn't even step closer for a clearer view, don't even think about him intervening.

Shut the fuck up you retarded..

I know I wouldn't step in. People fucking lose their lives for the simplest of reasons. Maybe the camera guy had a family and didn't want to risk anything.
Shut up already. It's not like the ferrari driver was continuously pounding him in a sadistic fashion. I hate cab drivers too, and as much as I don't condone violence , sometimes those idiots deserve a punch or two. Worst drivers to ever get on the roads..

But that's besides the point. I thought the ferrari guy went overboard a bit with the last punch in the end.

Still though, shut up about the whole "well see if I was there , see ! I would have done something, see, yeah!". You would have pussied out too, the only way I'd intervene is if all of my gut and instincts we're telling me to do so, and that would only happen if the cab driver's life was in danger. So shut up and keep quiet. He did the right thing by just recording . Fucking too many superhero movies for you.

SlowRider 06-20-2011 10:21 AM

near the end the cabi guy was totally exageratting saying .."my face my face" ..i can see what he was doing ..he was just pretending to be like the red car driver saying "my car my car" ...then he got punched out again....

My point in that post is not to bitch at him for not intervening.
I never said that I would intervene, but I would at least have the balls to walk closer and record a better video.

Smartest move ever! That cabby will be driving a ferrari around town once the courts see this!

Yesterday, we told you about a recent Las Vegas incident involving the drivers of a Ferrari F430 Spider and a yellow taxicab. In our original story, we wrote that the cabbie “allegedly rear-ended” the Italian exotic. It turns out though that there was no collision between the two cars with the Ferrari driver exploding simply because the cabbie cut him off.

Patrick Fritz, the person who filmed the video outside of Fry's Electronics, came in contact with Carscoop and detailed the events that eventually led to the Ferrari driver punching the cabbie.

Here’s what Patrick told Carscoop:

“I saw this altercation from the very beginning. The Ferrari was trying to leave the Fry's Electronics parking lot as the Taxi driver pulled in front of him, cutting him off. The Ferrari driver was pissed that he got cut off. There was NO collision.

The Ferrari driver then peeled out as he drove up past the cab and stopped in front of him and began yelling at him for "driving like an *********". Then the Ferrari driver got out of his vehicle and approached the cab driver. That's the beginning of the video.”

THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT

none the less itd still suck to get reared but his actions were too much

And the cabbie can afford to cover that?
I don't think so.
Maybe I'm to much of an automotive enthusiast and love my junk too much but I'd be right pissed if someone was driving poorly and fucked up my exotic.
Throwin punches probably not but damn flippin.

maybe some of you haters need to own a nice car first to understand

You don't know if the cabbie was driving poorly; all we see is the aftermath. Furthermore, rumor has it that the car isn't even his; it's probably a rental. Which means he won't be affected in any way really...His insurance will cover it and he won't suffer loss of value to the vehicle as it's not his anyways.

Nightwalker 06-26-2011 04:44 PM

Seeing as there was no accident at all, that Ferrari driver is clearly a fucking asshole.

StylinRed 06-26-2011 04:50 PM

why are you guys still talking about a collision... ws6ta already posted the update there was no accident

@MrJflk Just an FYI... The police arrested the Ferrari driver and about 20 people including myself gave statements to the police and may be testifying in court against him. No need to try and help out by using google to find out what company the cab driver worked for. Thanks anyway.

Just a quick update for all who are curious: At the end of the video you'll notice I stopped after the cab driver got knocked out (and fell into the Ferrari). That was when I decided this was no longer entertaining and noticed not one person on the scene had called the police. I called, filled out a report, handed this video to the Taxi Cab Authority, Metro Police and the Cab Driver's lawyers. There was NO COLLISION involved! Just a case of road rage. Please share THIS video on Facebook! Thanks!
