wouldn't insurance cover it anyways?

firebird79_00 06-19-2011 07:12 PM

How come it seems most people with a ton of money are assholes, he obviously has money so cant he just suck it up and pay the $300 deductible.

K.Dubz 06-19-2011 07:20 PM

STI FTW!

TRDood 06-19-2011 07:21 PM

Turn over the Ferrari, torch it? :troll:

There's no need to punch the taxi driver, TWICE.

Harvey Specter 06-19-2011 07:22 PM

Some idiots roll around without tags (proper insurance) in the states, yes even people who own exotic cars and it looks like the cabby was looking for any excuse to have the Ferrari driver assault him so he could sue him.

drunkrussian 06-19-2011 07:26 PM

lol smart cabbie

If I had an exotic I would be choked if someone hit it too. But, I wouldn't punch them...

but think of it from his perspective, lets say the cars title is clean and now there's a claim on it, may be very minor but it still has an impact on resale value though.

lol 06-19-2011 09:14 PM

^ exactly. will cost $300 deductible but maybe $10k loss in resale because the vehicle will have a claim on it now even if it is just a scuff on the rear bumper. A claim is a claim.

lowda9 06-19-2011 09:26 PM

wtf is wrong with that guy, throwing sucker punches like that at the taxi driver.

AzNightmare 06-19-2011 09:28 PM

Still, just a car.
10K is probably just chump change for those that can afford a Ferrari.

Ultimately, cars aren't good investments because of how quickly they can
depreciate. Stuff happens. These are simply risks you take by driving nice cars
out of your garage. The ferrari driver doesn't have to be such a dick.

lol 06-19-2011 09:31 PM

Ya i think he crossed the line. like shit does happen. I wonder if its even his car and now he gotta go to his buddy who is the owner and tell him the bad news. imagine that happened to you, that would piss me off.. but at the end of the day it is just a car.

then get it privately fixed, pretty sure he has some connection through ferrari autoshops

none the less itd still suck to get reared but his actions were too much

ilvtofu 06-19-2011 09:44 PM

Honestly not worth fighting over a 430, never was nor will be a true classic

Ok, let's just assume the driver was going to sell it off pretty soon. That $10k loss from it no longer a clean title IS something to cry over. Even if you drove a ferarri, $10k might be a lot of money. Especially if you scraped and saved to get that ferrari in the first place.

What I don't get is why the cabbie is crying.

jpark 06-19-2011 10:03 PM

i can understand his frustrations, but he definitely crossed the line lol

Harvey Specter 06-19-2011 10:16 PM

But question is what happen before the accident? Road rage?

VrrM604 06-19-2011 10:24 PM

as long as you drive on the road, you have a chance to be hit, whether it's a $10K or a $300K car, you take the risk when driving...

cressydrift 06-19-2011 10:37 PM

Maybe the cab driver wanted to be punched on purpose so he could sue. They are in the States.

vafanculo 06-19-2011 10:51 PM

yea..the crying super loud is a good way to get a lawsuit in the states lol

really wish he just started beating the shit out of the ferrari instead tho

ws6ta 06-19-2011 10:58 PM

looks like the taxi driver will be a ferrari driver soon :lol

ajei 06-19-2011 11:31 PM

he had to hit im again just to shut him up lol
