Requirements to take dog over US border?

I'm going camping this weekend in the US, 30 min from the Peace Arch border by Birch Lake I think. I want to bring my dog with us since the whole family is coming. Does anyone know what kind of papers (if any) I need to take him over?

Is it just a certification of having up to date vaccinations?

the only thing you need is proof of up to date Rabies vaccine. It is only required for coming back into Canada. The States do not require it.

Yea, I think when ur dog got it's rabies shot, there's a lil tag with it. I was told that you need to bring that with you when you go across the border
