^ They are moving to Lansdowne. I don't think you can go to Aberdeen as the store is pretty much empty.

Is it primary due to the price of rent?

^ Thank you lol
The Aberdeen location had a sale. It was mostly crap. All their bodies and lens are not really on sale. There were even cassette tapes! They have some tc for Canon and Nikon though. And maybe some old looking Tamron filters. I think I saw a Canon shutter release too.

hahahaha. Yes - next time we have a photowalk, I can explain what went wrong.
Either way, I have my new connectors, etc - so I have the best of both worlds, my awesomely cool Crumpler Industry Disgrace Jam Croissant strap, mixed with the black rapid hardware. w00t!
now all i need is a new normal lens

Before buying the latest and greatest products on the market, get creative and try coming up with something of your own. Creativity doesn't have to stop at the lens. http://www.revscene.net/forums/showt...45#post4350845

i bought the strap stuff from MEC. Originally, I was just using a plastic D-Ring as the slider, with a small strap in the original strap thing in where the straps originally went on the camera. The small strap came undone, and my camera came crashing to the floor. It was only about a foot off the ground though, but my lens was toast.
I now have the ConnectR-2 and the FastenR-3.
The actual straps from MEC are really easy to make though. Like the buckles and stuff - those will be fine. That small strap that I used wasn't a good idea... haha.

My RS Sport finally arrived yesterday. Fits great, with my gripped slr and a zoom lens, it doesn't feel heavy like it did around my neck. It feels like I am carrying a light messenger bag. I do find the strap that goes under the armpit annoying at times, as I don't foresee a need for it walking the streets of Vancouver. If I was hiking or climbing something, definitely needed. It is removable so I removed it for now

On the topic of straps, anyone have a Gordy wrist strap? gordy's camera straps
Thinking of picking one up for my 7D, but I wish I could get metal split ring > string, as string could rip.
