Diamond Kote

Wife just bought Mazda 6 and the dealership was promoting the Diamond Kote Protection for the paint. Is this any good and are there better products and services out there?

Thanks

honestly speaking, its basically just another one of those "cheap clear coat" jobs.

its supposed to help protect paint, but nothing a regular clean and wax cant fix.

It's not even a cheap clear coat job. I is just wax.. I got a bottle. Just go out and buy the best wax you can buy and do it yourself.

Agreed. I have a bottle here. It does look good, but no better than anything else. Save your cash and get some Menzerna Powerlock or similar sealant.

i would skip it along with any dupont coating they put on the inside or out for "protection"

don't go for the dealer extras. also don't let them "detail" your car. unless you want some free swirls on your new paint.

i like my klasse twins more than diamond kote.
