Up for sale is my 91 TD, specs are below:
- 5 spd
- stock power locks
- heated seats (driver's currently not working)
- had a/c, lines were disconnected and plugged.
- accessory belts replaced last week
- 399500km on chassis, ~20,000km on engine rebuild
- engine rebuilt completely from bare block to stock specs
- rebuilt injector pump, new vacuum pump
- fk 80/60 cup kit
- aftermarket deck, relocated to center console
- vdo gauges, boost egt and oil temp.
- 850-900km per $60 fill of diesel.
- regular oil changes with rotella t6 full synth oil and oem MANN filters.
- royal purple gear oil in tranny about 4000k ago.
- ~5000k on front tires, rears are about 75%.
the engine and drivetrain are completely stock, perfect starting point for a td enthusiast, or a perfect daily driver that gets wicked mileage.
I originally got this to be my DD with potential to take me from east van to north surrey. I've now moved closer to work and am looking for something with a bit more pep. This is a turn key, super reliable car that will take you wherever you want to go... slowly. The car is pretty low, so that is something to take into consideration before coming to look at it.
Some things of note, the paint is pretty faded on the hood, and somewhat faded on the roof and passenger's c-panel. The paint is original so it has its chips as any other daily driven dub would.
The rear passenger side window is difficult to roll up and down.
The car is rust free, aside from some bubbling at the bottom of the windshield, common mk2 rust spot. Gas cap area is clean.
