No idea what the MSRP is yet, unfortunately. Canon lent it to us for a few weeks for evaluation.

I was looking at the Sigma 8-16mm. I'm just waiting for the reviews to come in to compare the two.
Can you put a filter in the front? on a crop frame that is - not a FF.

I don't really like how it makes the image circle like that.. is there no way around it?

Definitely a very special purpose lens.

on a crop frame it'll be perfect though!!

i got the sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6 a couple weeks ago. its not as "fisheye" as the canon one at 8mm.. sorta disappointing but its okay
to get in focus with the subject u need to be about 2 inches or more away. still a cool lens to use for pictures of clouds, architecture etc.
