Cheap Cure for Cancer?

tl;dr

  • It seems to work without side effects on lung, breast and brain cancer.
  • Having difficulty getting through testing. Why? Because testing is expensive and as an old drug without patents or licenses, drug companies don't stand to profit, thus they aren't funding the testing.
  • So far, funding is coming from University of Alberta.

My mom died of cancer.

Sorry to hear about your mom, but this old story has been around forever, giving false hope. I'm sure this has been posted many times as well

It eventually did get clinical human testing, but results were not as good as the animal testing suggested.

Sorry if I gave anybody else false hope.

like you said, even if the university were able to find a viable cure for cancer, no company in the world would be willing to mass produce and sell it. imo, it will take at least another 2 decades...

There's a saying... If you can't profit by solving a problem, it will go on unsolved.

Why solve a problem when pharma companies can make billions by it being unsolved?

Wouldnt the donation we give to Cancer agency research go towards non-profit drugs like this?

I have a feeling if you infect world leaders and the rich with cancer and AIDS, there'll be a cure within a year.
