The Flying Beaver

What are your thoughts on this bar? Its on Sea Island in Richmond, near the old (south) airport terminal.

Pros: Nice atmosphere

Cons: Expensive food, no PPV's

Friendly staff. I usually go there for wings Wed but you have to get there early as it's normally packed.

Staff are very friendly, great on Canucks game nights and Wednesday Wings is good times. Chill place to go and have a couple pops.

Expensive food?

I thought their food prices were average? I'm pretty sure that YVR employees get a discount too!

Love this place, although getting a table is a pain in the ass since it's so popular.

Great patio, plus it's the only outdoor patio in the GVRD where you can smoke.

Flying Beaver is consistently one of the best places in GVRD for wings. Big juicy and full of meat. Recommend you go early to get seats if you have 4+, otherwise it shouldn't be too bad to get seats.

Also another thing to note is that they have a complimentary shuttle that services Richmond, Marpole and that little town on Sea Island across from BCIT Aerospace.

Anybody use it before? I have yet to do so but curious how it works (does it pick up every x number of hours or just whenever they get a call? and what about drop off, same thing?)
