'Senseless' deaths: A tragic 10 days on Vancouver's roads

VANCOUVER -- More people have died in Vancouver traffic accidents so far this year than in all of last year, say police.

In the past 10 days alone, four people have been killed, and three others left fighting for their lives due to serious traffic collisions around the city, the VPD said in a Wednesday press release.

It doesn't surprise me. The "The heat is on, we're gonna come getcha!" attitude from the BC government, ICBC and the road safety squad does little to earn the respect of the driving public. Its time to stop catching people in fishing holes and focussing on aggressive, anti-social driving behaviours.
