With an expanded red light camera program, speed crackdowns galore and tougher drink-driving laws, does this upward spike in fatal collisions surprise you?

It doesn't surprise me. The "The heat is on, we're gonna come getcha!" attitude from the BC government, ICBC and the road safety squad does little to earn the respect of the driving public. Its time to stop catching people in fishing holes and focussing on aggressive, anti-social driving behaviours.
