Adobe Premiere 50% Off...

People who follow video editing probably have heard about Final Cut Pro X, the new version of FCP just released by Apple. Well, it hasn't been received by professionals very well because of features left out that existed in FCP 7. Apple promises to add them in future updates, but there are still a lot of pissed customers.

Adobe, looking to cash in, has a deal where you can buy Premiere Pro CS5.5 ($800 US) or Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium ($1,700 US) for 50% off if you already bought FCPX ($300 US). Pretty good deal, and you end up with both packages.

FCP... the only reason why I'd ever consider getting a Mac. Good heads up for those who have FCPX, though.

My bad, it only applies to owners of FCP, and not FCP X.

IMO, very misleading by Adobe. They're using the fact people are upset with upgrading to FCP X to get you to switch, but only people who already have FCP are eligible.
