I have one of those Jimmy Buffets margaritaville machines and I have that cranked all summer making cold drinks

sonick 07-04-2011 12:18 PM

Non-alcoholic: Iced Coffee, black and no sugar.

Alcoholic: Mojito.

unit 07-04-2011 12:24 PM

mojitos are nice and refreshing.
sangrias arent bad either. i made a 30 bottle batch of cabernet sauvignon that i dont really enjoy drinking, so i make shitloads of sangria and its awesome.

but im gonna have to say any hefeweizen takes the cake for me.

sonick 07-04-2011 12:27 PM

Ya Hefeweizen or any similar light wheat ale is a very close 2nd. Definitely 1st if I am feeling like beer. Hoegaarden, Granville Island, Grasshopper. Mmm

Santofu 07-04-2011 12:32 PM

I like Iced tea, it's refreshing... But mango puree is added to it... it's AWESOME!

Try Schneider Weisse, it's one of my favourite beers ever. I haven't been able to have one in years though :okay:

What is a screamer?

sonick 07-04-2011 12:48 PM

^^ Dunno exactly when to when, but Danny's is/was closing for several weeks during Summer. Just a heads up in case anybody decides to run there for a screamer, only to be disappointed.

^ It is Danny's Market at Garden City and Francis.

Gin and tonic is my (alcoholic) weapon of choice to beating down the summer heat. I like screamers, with some vodka, too :)

jonwon 07-04-2011 07:10 PM

IRC they have screamer knock offs at macs

Bonka 07-04-2011 07:11 PM

Caipirinhas, Tom Collins for alcohol.

Fruity, slushy drinks for everything else.
